About Us

TipsOnUbuntu is a fastest growing Ubuntu / Linux blog on the Internet. In this site you’ll find tons of Ubuntu tweaking tips, app how-to-installs, daily news as well as basic Ubuntu knowledge.

We’re maintaining Some Ubuntu PPAs:

Using Ubuntu PPAs (Personal Packages Archive) is the most popular way to install and upgrade the apps which are either not yet available in the Ubuntu repositories or the Ubuntu repositories only provide an old version.

Many app developers host their codes and create PPAs on launchpad.net, a software collaboration platform maintained by Canonical Ltd. the company behind Ubuntu.

We have created a launchpad ID: https://launchpad.net/~tipsonubuntu, and we’re going to create some PPAs that provide something that are either not available in the Ubuntu repositories or the Ubuntu repositories only provide an old version.
