Just one week after the last major KeePassXC 2.3.0 release, the first bug-fix release 2.3.1 was announced earlier today.
KeePassXC 2.3.1 added following bug-fixes:
- Fix unnecessary automatic upgrade to KDBX 4.0 and prevent challenge-response key being stripped
- Abort saving and show an error message when challenge-response fails
- Support inner stream protection on all string attributes
- Fix favicon downloads not finishing on some websites
- Fix freeze due to invalid STDIN data
- Correct issue with encrypted RSA SSH keys
- Fix crash on macOS due to QTBUG-54832
- Show error message if ssh-agent communication fails
- Fix –pw-stdin and filename parameters being ignored
- Fix Auto-Type syntax check not allowing spaces and special characters
- Fix reference placeholders in combination with Auto-Type
- Fix qtbase translations not being loaded
- Fix startup crash on Windows due to missing SVG libraries
- Correct database tab order regression
- Fix GCC 8 compilation error
- Fix copying of advanced attributes on KDE
- Fix member initialization of CategoryListWidgetDelegate
- Fix inconsistent toolbar icon sizes and provide higher-quality icons
- Improve preview panel geometry
